Where is Camosun?
This neighbourhood is one of the most southerly inSaanich. The name Camosun is derived from a local Songhees (First Nation) name that means “where different waters meet and are transformed”. The area is bordered by McRae and Waterloo Streetsto the north. To the west, the boundary is irregular: Richmond Road, the Saanich/Victoria City boundary and Shelbourne Street. To the south, it is the Royal Jubilee Hospital and to the east it is Foul Bay Road and the east side of the Camosun College Lansdowne Campus.

About 30% of the area’s residents are university educated. The median age is slightly greater than 40 years. Average annual household income exceeds $90,000 and English is by far the first language.
