Schools in Gordon Head

Gordon Head is family-oriented, and this means there are many good schools located throughout the region. Closer to the University of Victoria, Arbutus Middle School offers French Immersion education. Nearby Mount Douglas Secondary hosts one of two of the district’s ‘Challenge’ programs for gifted, creative and talented high school students.

The University of Victoria is located on the southern edge of Gordon Head, and is within walking or biking distance of the neighborhoods in the Gordon Head community. Camosun College’s Interurban campus is also located close by.
